Sen. Murphy:

“We should speak out when protests become violent, but 95% of these young people believe there’s a fundamental injustice being perpetrated in Israel, and the right to peaceful protest should be protected.

Yes, there’s a point when protests become disruptive to campus operations, but I am not criminally offended by the fact that some of these protests last days.

This country has a history of overnight multi-day protests.”
