Who is Muhammad Mustafa?

Muhammad Mustafa was born in 1954 in the village of Kafr Sur in the Tulkarm Governorate. He has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization since 2022, and holds a doctorate in economics from George Washington University.

Mustafa held the positions of Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy in previous governments. He has served as Chairman of the Palestine Investment Fund from 2005 until today, and is considered one of the figures close to President Abbas.
