Iranian bodybuilder wins 35th Annual Arnold Classic Bodybuilding Competition

Pars Today – The famous veteran Iranian body-builder Hadi Choopan, has won the 35th Annual Arnold Classic Bodybuilding Competition.

The 2024 Arnold Classic final occurred on Saturday, March 02, 2024, in the Battelle Grand Ballroom in front of a sold-out crowd. The men’s open competitors, Choopan among them, displayed their talents to a panel of judges.

Despite fierce competition, the judges decided to award the Iranian bodybuilder, Hadi Choopan, the title of 2024 Arnold Classic Champion.

Choopan won $300,000 and was presented the trophy by former professional Austrian-American bodybuilder and Hollywood actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The Arnold Sports Festival took place in Columbus, Ohio from February 29 to March 03, 2024 and featured some of the world’s best bodybuilders.

Schwarzenegger had praised and encouraged Hadi Choopan throughout the competition.

This was the first time that a bodybuilder from Asia had won the annual Arnold Classic. After making history and winning the competition, Choopan released a video clip, declaring: “The Iranian people deserve to win top sporting completions, and I am glad that I have made my fellow countrymen happy. I like to see Iran at the top (of all sporting competitions).

Bodybuilding is one of Iran’s favourite sports, with a large number of followers in the country.
