बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने ‘इंडिया’ गठबंधन का संयोजक बनने से इनकार कर दिया है.
जेडीयू नेता संजय झा ने मीडिया से कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने कहा है कि ‘इंडिया’ गठबंधन का संयोजक सिर्फ कांग्रेस से ही होना चाहिए.
‘इंडिया’ गठबंधन की शनिवार को हुई बैठक के बाद एनसीपी प्रमुख शरद पवार ने पुणे में कहा, “हर किसी का सुझाव था कि नीतीश कुमार को संयोजक की ज़िम्मेदारी लेनी चाहिए, लेकिन उनका मत था कि जो पहले से इस भूमिका में है, उसे ही इस पद पर बने रहना चाहिए.”
प्रधानमंत्री के चेहरे के बारे में उन्होंने कहा कि “चुनाव बाद अगर बहुमत मिलता है तो हम देश के सामने बेहतर विकल्प देने की स्थिति में होंगे.”
“मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे की अध्यक्षता में इंडिया गठबंधन की एक बैठक हुई. तय हुआ कि जल्द से जल्द सीट साझेदारी पर फैसला लिया जाए. कुछ लोगों का सुझाव था कि गठबंधन की अगुवाई मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे करें और इस पर सभी लोग सहमत थे.”

बीजेपी के वरिष्ठ नेता और सांसद रविशंकर प्रसाद ने कहा, “क्या उन्हें संयोजक बनाने का ऑफ़र सीरियस था क्या? अगर सीरियस था तो पहले क्यों नहीं दिया. अगर नॉन सीरियस था तो अभी क्यों दिया. कभी कभी मुझे हंसी आती है कि कैसा गठबंधन है कि वैकेंसी है नहीं, कौन जीतने वाला है इसकी गारंटी है नहीं, उठापटक संयोजक बनाने पर हो रही है. एक कहावत है कि बड़े बेआबरू होकर तेरे कूचे से निकले.”
