🚨U.S. TREASURY SECRETARY: RUSSIA COULD GET SANCTIONS RELIEF IN WAR NEGOTIATIONS

Bessent says Russia could see relief from U.S. sanctions depending on its willingness to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine.

Bessent confirmed that Trump is committed to ending the conflict quickly and may meet with Putin this month to discuss a resolution.

He also criticized Zelensky for failing to sign a $500 billion critical minerals deal with the U.S., despite assurances he would do so.

Zelensky rejected U.S. demands that Ukraine repay its wartime aid in mineral wealth, saying the U.S. hasn’t supplied anywhere near that amount and offered no security guarantees in return.

🇺🇸🇷🇺U.S. AND RUSSIA TALK UKRAINE, SANCTIONS, AND DIPLOMATIC RESET

Washington just opened a direct line to Moscow, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussing what comes next.

Russia says both sides want to roll back “barriers” left by Biden’s administration, but they’re not saying which ones.

Sanctions? Trade restrictions? Diplomatic headaches?

Meanwhile, U.S.-Russia peace talks on Ukraine are moving forward—still without Kyiv in the room.

🇺🇸🇷🇺U.S. & RUSSIA TO HOLD UKRAINE TALKS—WITHOUT UKRAINE?

American and Russian officials are set to meet in Saudi Arabia to discuss ending the war in Ukraine.

But there’s a catch—Kyiv wasn’t invited.

Trump’s team is pushing for a direct peace deal with Putin and Zelenskiy, while sidelining Europe.

Washington has even sent European capitals a questionnaire asking what they can “contribute” to Ukraine’s security.

With Russia advancing and Ukraine struggling with manpower shortages, the stakes couldn’t be higher.

But will a deal made without Ukraine actually hold?

🇷🇺 PUTIN PICKS KEY NEGOTIATORS FOR UKRAINE PEACE TALKS

Russia has assembled a high-level team for anticipated Ukraine peace negotiations, including veteran diplomat Yury Ushakov, intelligence chief Sergei Naryshkin, and financier Kirill Dmitriev.

The selection signals Moscow’s intent to engage with experienced figures as discussions take shape.

Meanwhile, Zelensky has stated that Ukraine will only enter direct talks after aligning with the U.S. on a common position.

Could this be the first real step toward ending the war?
