Wall paintings of #DrBRAmbedkar, the architect of the #Constitution, and former #Mysuru ruler #TipuSultan were smeared with mud by unidentified persons at a government school at #Chabanur village in #Vijaypur’s #Talikote taluk.

The words ‘#JaiShriRam’ were also found scribbled under the wall painting of Tipu Sultan. However, the paintings of other great leaders were left untouched. Villagers say the act was committed to disturb communal harmony.

The villagers, along with the police, cleaned up the paintings later. The #TalikotePolice visited the spot and have registered a case. They are now on the lookout for the miscreants.
