🚨4 ITALIAN SOLDIERS INJURED IN ROCKET STRIKE ON UNIFIL BASE IN LEBANON

2 rockets struck a UNIFIL peacekeeping base in southern Lebanon, injuring 4 Italian soldiers, according to Rome’s government.

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni condemned the attack as “unacceptable” and called for accountability. The rockets hit a bunker in Chama village, shattering glass and causing injuries.

Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani suggested Hezbollah might be responsible, as clashes between Israel and Hezbollah have intensified along the border.

Italy, a key contributor to UNIFIL with over 1,000 troops, expressed outrage. Defense Minister Guido Crosetto called the repeated attacks on UNIFIL bases “intolerable.”
