🚨🇸🇾SYRIAN CHURCH LEADERS CONDEMN MASSACRES, CALL FOR PEACE

Christian patriarchs in Syria have issued a joint statement denouncing the escalating violence and massacres of civilians, including women and children.

They demand an immediate end to the brutality, urging national reconciliation and a future built on equal citizenship and unity.

Rejecting any attempts to divide Syria, they call on all parties to take responsibility and seek peaceful solutions to protect the country’s future.

The patriarchs pray for Syria’s safety and the restoration of peace.

🇸🇾FROM JIHADIST TO PRESIDENT: WHO IS SYRIA’S NEW LEADER?

Ahmed al-Shara, once known as Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, has transformed from an Al Qaeda-affiliated commander to Syria’s head of state.

But is this a genuine evolution or a strategic rebranding?

Shara led the Nusra Front, welcomed foreign jihadists, and vowed to establish an Islamic state.

Now, he speaks of democracy, diplomacy, and national unity. He broke with Al Qaeda in 2016, repositioned himself as a pragmatic leader, and now courts global powers, promising stability in a fractured Syria.

Despite his new image, many remain skeptical.

His government includes former extremist figures, and reports of past abuses by his allies raise concerns about his true intentions.

While he has reached out to minorities and promised reforms, Syria’s future under his rule remains deeply uncertain.

Is Shara a reformed leader steering Syria toward stability—or a survivor adapting to hold power at any cost?

🚨🇸🇾 MASSACRE IN SYRIA: ALAWITES HUNTED IN POST-ASSAD VIOLENCE

Syria is witnessing its bloodiest days since Assad’s fall.

Hundreds of Alawites have been killed in the past few days as fighters loyal to the fallen regime clash with the new Islamist government.

For decades, the Alawite minority—just 12% of the population—was the backbone of Assad’s rule, dominating the military, intelligence, and government. Many saw his leadership as their shield in a Sunni-majority country.

Now, with Assad gone, they are facing a violent reckoning.

Reports of mass executions, kidnappings, and entire villages being wiped out in Latakia and Homs suggest a full-scale purge is underway.

Assad loyalists, fearing they will be exterminated, are taking up arms in what they call a fight for survival.

Their opponents argue this is the dismantling of an oppressive regime and a necessary step toward stability.

But with Alawite civilians—including women and children—being slaughtered in the crossfire, the line between justice and revenge is blurring fast.
