🚨🇸🇾MASSIVE CLASHES ON SYRIA’S COAST: DOZENS DEAD AS PRO-ASSAD FORCES SEIZE LATTAKIA BASES

Syrian pro-Assad forces have taken Latakia’s Naval Command HQ and Istamo Airfield, killing scores of HTS fighters and capturing helicopters.

In Jableh and Baniyas, Assad-aligned Coastal Shield Brigade launched brutal ambushes, killing at least 13 HTS fighters. A car bomb in Qardaha wiped out an entire HTS unit.

Meanwhile, Turkish troops and proxies have entered Idlib, raising fears of escalation. Damascus sees mass pro-security demonstrations as Latakia enforces a strict curfew.

Assad loyalists deny fighting to restore Assad but claim to be crushing HTS oppression.

🇸🇾 SYRIA’S NEW LEADERS TARGET ASSAD-ERA BUSINESS TYCOONS

Syria’s new rulers, led by Ahmed al-Sharaa (Abu Mohammed al-Golani), are investigating Assad-linked business elites, freezing assets and ordering corporate probes into billion-dollar empires.

Tycoons Samer Foz and Mohammad Hamsho, both sanctioned by the U.S., have met with new authorities and pledged cooperation.

Officials say Assad’s allies control much of Syria’s economy, making a total crackdown risky.

Instead, businesses remain operational under HTS supervision while investigations unfold.

With 90% of Syrians living in poverty, the economic fallout of Assad’s ouster remains uncertain.
