🚨🇵🇸🇮🇱 HOSTAGES RETURNED AFTER 471 DAYS IN CAPTIVITY

Three Israeli women abducted by Hamas on October 7, 2023, were freed Sunday under a ceasefire deal, ending 471 days in captivity.

Romi Gonen (24), Emily Damari (28), and Doron Steinbrecher (31) were taken from the Nova music festival and Kibbutz Kfar Aza.

Hamas handed the women to the Red Cross in Gaza before their transfer to Israeli forces.

Emotional reunions followed at an IDF facility near the Gaza border.

Damari, injured during her abduction, lost two fingers.

All three are receiving care at Sheba Medical Center.

The deal includes releasing 33 hostages over 42 days in exchange for 1,904 Palestinian prisoners.

Hamas reportedly still holds 91 hostages.

What does it mean that the three female Israeli prisoners in the hands of the Palestinian resistance look very healthy?
1️⃣Ate well despite the starvation
2️⃣Treated well despite the Israeli bad treatment of Palestinian prisoners
3️⃣Protected well despite the relentless Israeli bombing that killed even babies in incubators
4️⃣No rape, no sexual abuse
5️⃣No physical or psychological torture

🚨🇵🇸🇮🇱 HAMAS TO ISRAEL: STICK TO THE DEAL, OR ELSE

Hamas’ armed wing says it’ll play nice and follow the ceasefire agreement in Gaza—if Israel does the same.

Hamas Spokesman Abu Ubaida:

“Everything is dependent on the commitment by the enemy.

Violations from the side of the occupation (Israel) would put the process at risk.

We are keen to succeed in all stages of the agreement, its details and timings to preserve the blood of our people and achieve their goals, and we urge the mediators to compel the enemy to abide by it.”

As part of the ceasefire’s first phase, Hamas released three female hostages today.

In exchange, Israel is expected to release 90 Palestinian prisoners.

🚨🇬🇧🇮🇱 STARMER: THIS CEASEFIRE IS WELCOME NEWS, BUT MORE MUST BE DONE

“The release of three hostages today is wonderful and long-overdue news after months of agony for them and their families.

Among them is British citizen Emily Damari, who will now be reunited with her family, including her mother Amanda, who has never stopped her tireless fight to bring her daughter home.

We must now see the remaining phases of the ceasefire deal implemented in full and on schedule, including the release of those remaining hostages and a surge of humanitarian aid into Gaza.

The UK stands ready to do everything it can to support a permanent and peaceful solution.”
