Around 50 rockets were launched from Lebanon into Israel’s Avivim area in the Upper Galilee, with several striking inside settlements, according to Israeli military sources.

Some rockets were intercepted, but Israeli media report casualties in the affected areas.

🚨🇱🇧ISRAELI STRIKE SOUTH OF BEIRUT KILLS 20, LEBANESE RESCUERS SEARCH FOR SURVIVORS

Lebanese rescuers combed through the rubble in Barja, south of Beirut, following a deadly Israeli airstrike on an apartment building that killed at least 20 people and injured 14 others.

The strike, one of the deadliest in Israel’s intensified air campaign over Lebanon, devastated the multi-storey structure without prior evacuation warnings.

Residents like Moussa Zahran returned to sift through the wreckage, with Zahran recounting how debris fell on his 13-kilo son during the attack.
