🇲🇽 FIRST HUMAN CASE OF H5N1 BIRD FLU HITS MEXICO — AND IT’S A TODDLER!

A 3-year-old girl in Durango, roughly 140 miles northwest of Zacatecas, tested positive for H5N1 and is now in serious condition in a hospital in Torreón — about 160 miles west of Monterrey.

She’s being treated with antivirals and monitored closely.

Health officials say don’t panic — no evidence it’s spreading from person to person, and WHO says the risk to the public is low.

🚨🇬🇧HUMAN CASE OF BIRD FLU DETECTED IN UK’S WEST MIDLANDS

A human case of bird flu has been confirmed in England, with the infected individual contracting the virus after prolonged exposure to infected birds on a farm in the West Midlands.

Health officials say the risk to the public remains very low, and no human-to-human transmission has been detected. The infected birds are being culled, and close contacts have been offered antiviral treatment.

The UK government has stocked up on H5 vaccines as bird flu cases rise nationwide.
