Almost 300 people flying in from Mexico got an unexpected sleepover—on a parked plane. Thanks to storms, 2 Delta flights got rerouted to Montgomery, Alabama… a place that, fun fact, doesn’t have customs.

So what happened? Everyone had to just sit there. For hours. No getting off. No food. Crew timed out.

Bathrooms? You can guess. Some folks were stuck for nearly 20 hours just trying to get to Atlanta.

And when they finally got off? Surprise: still no customs, so they were held at the gate like grounded kids after class.

Delta’s now saying sorry and offering refunds—but maybe next time, check if the backup airport actually knows how to handle international flights. Just a thought.
